Who We Are
Decart Building Contracting LLC is a Dubai-based design-and-build contractor, established in 2008, working across luxury villas, interiors, residential developments, commercial and retail projects, renovation, landscape works and project supervision.
We hold the whole project rather than a slice of it. That means the design, the engineering coordination, the approvals, the procurement, the construction and the interior fit-out are managed by one team with one programme and one line of responsibility. Where a client already has a designer or a contractor appointed, we take a defined part of the work instead and coordinate with the rest.
Philosophy
Design That Is Made to Be Built.
A design is only as good as its buildability. We test detail against reality: whether a junction can be executed by the trades available, whether a material can be delivered in the size specified, whether a service can be routed without dropping a ceiling, whether a threshold can be flush and still drain.
This is not a limitation on ambition. Restrained, precise architecture makes higher demands on execution than decoration does, and it fails more visibly when the execution is wrong. The work is in making a simple detail survive the site.
We also try to keep decisions where they belong. Choices that carry cost, programme or quality consequences are put in front of the client with those consequences stated, while there is still time to change direction inexpensively.

The controls that produce a good result are unglamorous and they happen before installation, not after.

Dubai and the UAE
Working Where the Rules Are Local.
Building well in the UAE requires more than technical competence. It requires knowing how community and master-developer requirements affect a plot, how approvals sequence against a construction programme, how the climate governs envelope and shading decisions, and which materials hold up in local conditions.
Decart works from Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai and delivers projects for clients in Dubai and across the Emirates. Where a project sits outside Dubai, the approvals route and local requirements are established at feasibility stage rather than assumed.
We also try to be a responsible presence on site. Access, noise, dust, waste and neighbour impact are part of the method statement, not an inconvenience discovered later.
Long-Term Value
Built to Still Be Good in Ten Years.
A property's long-term value comes from decisions that are invisible at handover: waterproofing detail, insulation continuity, the accessibility of services for maintenance, the specification of finishes in the places that get worn, and whether the record information exists to maintain the building at all.
These are the items most easily removed under cost pressure, and the most expensive to reinstate. We flag them explicitly when value engineering is discussed, so a saving is made with knowledge of what is being given up.
